Does it need drain holes?
Is it difficult to take the whole roll out if you need to?
They have improved on the BAK Revolver design but I have one worry that could be a deal breaker. The plastic “tabs” you grab at time stamp 4:19 seems to fail often and causes an even bigger issue, looks like a thief could just bust them off and access the locking tab without much issue? What are your thoughts?
I am watching your video because I am looking at purchasing one of these. I have watched as many videos as I could find in that tab seems to be an issue. I have not heard people say it’s a easy access point for thieves. It does seem that way to me though. I suppose you would need a person on each side after you break the tabs off to push in the tab on each side, but it seems like that would be pretty easy access therefore defeating all the aluminum and the security. I still may purchase this because I have a 2023 Chevy Colorado LT and I wanna get the elevate rack but spend as little as possible on a secure bed cover. The elevate rack and this cover seem to be the cheapest I can find still more than double what I wanna spend.
Does the rail system allow for the use of the bed assist bar that comes in the bed of the GMC and Chevys to help you step up into the bed? It looked like you had the bar removed when you did the installation
