  1. So it just spreads the surface area and since aluminum transfers heat quickly (which is why we use aluminum pans and foil) it absorbs all the air

  2. He’s explaining the flow process of coolant backwards because cooling system works by, hot coolant coming from the engine via thermostat into the outlet hose to the radiator cores where it is cooled off by traveling across the radiator removing heat and and transferring it to the atmosphere. By the time the coolant reaches the other end, it travels to the inlet lower hose into the water pump to engine to cool the engine with cooled coolant and repeat the process.
