So tha lil mf has some serious torque
When I apply voltage directly to the starter motor nothing happens. Only when applied to the solenoid first. I thought if applied directly to the starter motor it should turn?
While this video shows the details… It fails to show that there is almost always two connections from the positive lead on the battery to the starter. One connection goes to the solenoid which activvates when the key is turned on. The other connection goes directly from the positive battery terminal to the starter motor.
It’s obvious this video is incorrect because the starter motor itself requires massive amps to turn the crank shaft.
