I get that you’re trying to make a sale but fear mongering people out of restoring their headlight enclosures when it’s a really simple thing to do is silly. Especially when we’re looking at how much waste is out there.
2 years ago I spent an hour restoring my 15 year old car’s headlight enclosures. All I did last year was clean them, buff them, and respray the clear coat spray on them because they’re still clear and like new after the restoration.
There are PLENTY of vehicle parts that can’t be restored. So for the few that can be lets not scare normal people out of being a little thrifty. In fact you guys should be selling headlight restoration stuff and do a video on how to do it properly. Then tell people with the money they saved to go buy some other stuff from you. Everyone wins in that scenario.
